Space Explorers
Week one - June 6 – 10

Join us for a week of space exploration! Each day we will navigate space starting from here on earth to the moon and on to possible worlds far beyond our own solar system. Campers will have a chance to engage in hands-on activity surrounding various astronomy topics from meteors and craters to non-visible light to launching their own rocket! Activities are inspired by NISE Network kits but tailored for the appreciation of children ages 5-12

All Aboard Earth

After our exploration of space we willl focus back home on our own planet earth. Campers will explore the geology, atmosphere and special features of our planet the Earth like water! We will explore the continents and oceans of our Earth and learn about Biomes and how geography influenced culture.

Chemistry Camp
Week Three June 20 – 24

Get excited for chemistry! Let your child be amazed as they pour and mix together chemicals to surprising and maybe even explosive results. Chemistry inspires the natural curiosity in a child to ask questions and seek answers. Throughout this week they will follow the steps of a chemist and question the world around them with hands-on activities and creative experimentation.

Bugs, Spiders, & Bees Oh My!
Week Four June 27- July 1

Do bugs, spiders, bees and all living outdoor species fascinate your child? Then this is the week for them. They will become backyard scientists and junior entomologists. We will learn about beehives and the life cycle of many bugs. We will explore what characterizes an insect versus a spider and learn about the parts of many of these animals.

Active Adventures
Week Five - July 4 - 8

Join us for an exploration of human health and anatomy. Through the guise of exercise and activity we can explore how the body works and how we can keep it healthy. In the beginning we will focus on the basics of human anatomy and as we move forward campers will begin to learn how exercise and activity can affect the body. By the end each camper will develop their own exercise routine to share with the rest of us!

In it to Win it!
Week Six - July 11-15

Designed for every child, come and builld your athletic skills with fun games and active cooperative learning experiences. We will spend this week playing a variety of games while practicing teambuilding. Campers will practice working together while building their physicality. Campers will even be able to create their own game and it test them with the group.

Design Lab
Week Seven - July 18 -22

Design Lab is an opportunity to think about STEAM as a whole in a variety of design settings. Each day is focused on a different lab and each activity on that day will highlight different design skills. Campers will be challenged mentally and creatively and bring home some unique projects. Their final project can be an elaboration of something they have already worked on or something they are interested in learning how to do.

Builder’s Delight
Week Eight - July 25 – 29

If your child likes to build then this week is for them. We will explore and build our own Rube Goldberg structure. Design and build orignal structures while exploring different types of structures from around the world. Whether you like building with blocks or lego’s this week of camp is for you.

Sustain the Lowcountry
Week Nine – August 1 – 5

This is the world we live in! The low country is home to a variety of wildlife and plants (and people) that need to stick around here for a long time. In this course we will explore some of the ecosystems of the low country and think about ways to keep them sustainable and healthy for generations to come. In the second week campers will be challenged to think about their own sustainable product or business based in the low country and work towards creating materials and ideas to make this business run.
