Sensory Inclusive Days

Each month, our Hilton Head location opens it’s doors for a special inclusive two-hour play session for families and children who have sensory processing differences or Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD), or developmental challenges. During this session the museum will foster an inclusive environment for these children and families.

Reduced Admission is $5/person (1 year and up), Members are free.

Starting November 2023.

This event includes the following modifications and supports:

• Designated quiet spaces
• Fidgets, weighted vests, headphones and other sensory resources available for use while in the museum.
• Reduced/No volume on certain exhibits
• A therapy dog, may visit on some days. He will be available to visit on the porch as you enter or exit.
