Through the guise of play and exploration, D.I.G empowers young children by encouraging and guiding development of the skills needed for their success in learning and in life: language and literacy, reading and writing, math and science, and social, emotional, and physical well-being. Paralleling the South Carolina Early Learning Standards, The Sandbox Kindergarten School Readiness Program not only compliments the work being done by parents, caregivers, and educators but also includes them in the learning process and provide ideas for them to continue to foster growth and curiosity.
